NFL Round 2 Mock Draft

The first round of the NFL draft is in the books but day 2 of the draft starts within the hour and so I thought I'd quickly get out a mock of round 2. Not much description but players to look at as day 2 rolls on. Plenty of great talent still left. 33. Jacksonville Jaguars - Trevon Moehrig, Safety, TCU 34. New York Jets - Asante Samuel Jr., Cornerback, Florida State 35. Atlanta Falcons - Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, Linebacker, Notre Dame 36. Miami Dolphins - Teven Jenkins, Offensive Tackle, Oklahoma State 37. Philadelphia Eagles - Tyson Campbell, Cornerback, Georgia 38. Cincinnati Bengals - Jalen Mayfield, Offensive Tackle/Guard, Michigan 39. Carolina Panthers - Dillon Radunz, Offensive Tackle, North Dakota State 40. Denver Broncos - Christian Barmore, Defensive Tackle, Alabama 41. Detroit Lions - Terrace Marshall Jr., Wide Receiver, LSU 42. New York Giants - Azeez Ojulari, Edge Rusher, Georgia 43. San Fransisco 49ers - Jevon Holland, Defensive Back, Oregon 44. Dallas Cowboys - Kelv...

NFL Draft Round 1 Grades: Bears + Titans Big Winners? Raiders, Saints Losers?

The first night of the NFL draft has concluded and it was filled with memorable moments and surprises. Every pick of the first round will be graded here with a short description. 1. Jacksonville Jaguars select Trevor Lawrence, QB, Clemson Grade: A+ The Jags made the pick we all saw coming and landed a generational talent at the QB position. They are set for the next decade or so.  2. New York Jets select Zach Wilson, QB, BYU Grade: A Sam Darnold clearly wasn't going to be the future in New York so they flipped him and grabbed his successor in the wildly talented and athletic Zach Wilson. Wilson is easily the second best QB in the class and has a much better chance of succeeding in New York. 3. San Francisco 49ers select Trey Lance, QB, North Dakota State Grade: B At least it wasn't Mac Jones but giving up all the picks they did to make this move and not taking Justin Fields is what makes me give them a B. Lance has insane athletic ability and could be coached into something ...

Mock Draft 4.0: Final Mock Draft Before Draft! Multiple Teams Trade Up for QBs?

Image
I can't believe we made it. That's right. The NFL draft is today! A 3 day stretch that all football fans count down for every single year. For the bad teams, it's the highlight of their year. Adding the best players they can ever get. Even for the good teams its super exciting to see what young talent they will add to their great rosters. Without further waiting, this is our final mock draft before the draft. These are our best predictions to how the first round will shake out. Lawrence 1. Jacksonville Jaguars select Trevor Lawrence, QB, Clemson: The day has finally come where the Jaguars will make Trevor Lawrence the no. 1 pick. We all knew this pick was going to be Lawrence since the draft last season, maybe even longer ago. Nonetheless, Lawrence is the best QB prospect since Andrew Luck. A generational talent. He will save the Jaguars franchise. 2. New York Jets select Zach Wilson, QB, BYU: Along with Lawrence, Wilson is the other pick we are sure of in this draft. Aft...

Mock Draft 3.0: SIXTH QB in RD1? Najee Harris to an AFC heavyweight?

We are just a week away from draft day! I can't believe it. The excitement of this time of year is different from any other and teams are gearing up to finally make their selections. This will be the second to last mock draft of this off-season, with one more coming out right before the draft next week. Here we go. 1. Jacksonville Jaguars select Trevor Lawrence, QB, Clemson: Pick hasn't changed and will not change. Lawrence is a generational talent and will save the Jags ailing franchise. The arm talent, the accuracy, the mobility, the size, all A+. He is the most surefire top pick in a long time. 2. New York Jets select Zach Wilson, QB, BYU: The only thing that has changed about this since my last mock is Sam Darnold was actually traded, this pick was thought to be a lock before that, but now is for sure a lock. Wilson is the other surefire stud QB prospect in this draft. He has a huge arm with crazy talent and is mobile. He will be the Jets long lost franchise QB. 3. San Fr...

Post-FA NFL Power Rankings: Packers, Steelers Fall? Chargers on the Rise?

Image
With the draft being within two weeks and the hype for it growing each day, we seem to forget that free agency is still very open with many good players left to sign. However, with the main FAs off the board and teams really taking shape, we've decided to release our first power rankings for the 2021 season. These rankings will take into account the signings each team has made too. Each team's ranking will discuss their best move(s). Super Bowl Favorites 1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: The Bucs are easily the top team in the NFL right now. Coming off of their dominant Super Bowl win with the ageless wonder Tom Brady at the helm, I don't see a team that can compete with this roster right now. The Bucs become the first Super Bowl team to return all their starters from the season before. That's scary. They found a way to bring everyone back. 2. Kansas City Chiefs: The Chiefs best move of this off-season was inking Joe Thuney to a mega-deal to be their left guard. After getting ...
