Week 3 NFL Players of the Week

Image
Another week has come and gone and we now have another set of weekly award winners decided by us. There is a twist this time for a very special reason and you will see why soon.  OFFENSIVE Player of the Week: Josh Allen, Quarterback, Buffalo Bills Statline: 358 yards, 4 TDs, 0 INTs passing | 9 yards, 1 TD rushing Josh Allen and the Bills are back! After that rough week 1 loss to the Steelers in which so many things looked wrong, they have won two straight in blowout fashion. Josh Allen is back! He was so good in his breakout 2020 campaign and we are now seeing the highly anticipated jump again. Against Washington's stout defense, Allen was masterful. 358 passing yards, 4 TDs, and 0 picks. He was slinging the ball the entire game and literally didn't commit a single turnover. Allen also was doing this in an impressive way of spreading the love. In a Bills blowout win, one might expect Stefon Diggs to have been the main man behind Allen's success. Nope. Not this time. Diggs...

Week 4 NFL Power Rankings: A New No. 1! AFC Suddenly Wide Open

Image
This NFL season has started out crazy. Who would have thought the first 3 weeks would have played out the ways they did. There is so much movement this week and it almost feels like a new era of NFL football. Let's get into the ranks.  1. Los Angeles Rams (3-0) Previously #2 + For the first time this season (and with that, in the history of our site), there is a new no. 1 in the NFL power rankings. How good have these Rams been through these first three weeks? They won with ease their first two games and just easily put down the defending champ Buccaneers at home. The Bucs had won 10 in a row dating back to last season's Super Bowl run and regular season. With Matthew Stafford potentially the MVP frontrunner as of now at the helm, this Rams team looks unbeatable. Him and Cooper Kupp have been downright insane together. This elite defense is taking a backseat because of how impressive this offense has been. So far, Stafford is making it look like he should have been traded fo...

Week 3 NFL Game Predictions: Game of the Year in the NFC? Fields putting Browns on Upset Alert

Image
In the blink of an eye, we are already heading into week 3. I have said it a lot already, but wow, week 2 was fun. Will this week top it? A lot of fun games to get into. The predictions to come! Week 2 Predictions Record: 11-5 2021 Season Overall: 21-11 Thursday Night Football - Carolina Panthers (2-0) at Houston Texans (1-1) The NFL does this a lot in the early season. They get the lesser teams' primetime games out of the way early so no one has to watch them when they are already out of the playoffs. That might not be the case though for the Panthers. One of the biggest surprise teams out of the first couple of weeks has been this Panther team. Led by CMC and Sam Darnold (who is proving haters wrong), this team has a real shot of getting to 3-0. They will face third round rookie QB Davis Mills in his first career NFL start with Tyrod Taylor going down. I don't think this game will be close. The Pick: Panthers 30, Texans 18 Chicago Bears (1-1) at Cleveland Browns (1-1) Hmmmm. ...

Week 2 NFL Players of the Week

Image
After a pair of Cardinals won both of the main weekly awards last week, we will see some team diversity this week in our winners. After another exciting week of football, we have come up with the players we want to award as players of the week.  OFFENSIVE Player of the Week: Derrick Henry, Running Back, Tennessee Titans Statline: 35 carries, 182 yards, 3 TDs rushing | 6 receptions, 55 receiving yards What a bounce-back game for Derrick Henry and these Titans. They were blown out and embarrassed in week 1 and going into halftime in week 2, it looked like they might be in for a similar result. Then Henry took off. With over 100 rush yards and 3 TDs in the second half, Derrick Henry put the Titans on his back as they stormed back from a multi-score deficit and won the game in overtime. What he did to an elite Seahawks team is just otherworldly. He continued to get fed the ball and the Seahawks D could do nothing about it. It is unheard of in today's NFL for a player to get 40 t...

Week 3 NFL Power Rankings: Raiders, Panthers Keep Climbing; Steelers, Saints Free-fall

Week 2 was crazy. I don't know if I've ever seen a week where so many of the top teams in the league were upset in the same week. It makes for an interesting edition of our weekly power rankings. 1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-0) Previously #1 No movement here for the defending champs who just look unstoppable right now. Tom Brady might be the MVP favorite through two weeks. I just can't even with what he is doing at age 44. The Bucs offense and defense was hitting and they blew out the Falcons. Gronk proved he is for real as well. The Bucs seem to be by far and away the best team in football right now. Going into week 3, a massive test for this team looms, we will get to it in a second... 2. Los Angeles Rams (2-0) Previously #4 + With the two teams ahead of them being upset this week, the Rams climb into the top 2 of the rankings. While the game against the Colts was closer than they would have liked, they were in control pretty much the whole time. Cooper Kupp and Matthew S...

Waiver Wire Adds Week 3

Image
For the first two weeks of the season, we didn't release a fantasy football waiver wire add column. That ends this week. After two weeks of NFL football, there are tons of underrated players on waiver wires that can be added to make your team a lot better. We will also touch on some players you can drop even though you might not want to because of their name value.  *Quick Disclaimer* these stats are based off of half a point per reception basic scoring K.J. Osborn, Wide Receiver, Minnesota Vikings Available in 99% of ESPN fantasy leagues as of Sunday KJ Osborn has gone from a fully unknown to already a consistent fantasy force through two weeks of the NFL season. Even with Dalvin Cook getting tons of carries and a dynamic WR duo in Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen in Minnesota already, Osborn has found a way to be productive. In week 1, Osborn managed a whopping 9 targets which he turned in for 7 catches and 76 yards. A double digit performance (even better in full PPR). T...
