OFFICIAL JKFOOTBALL 2024 Season Predictions: Awards + Do the Chiefs Three-Peat?

  With the NFL season FINALLY kicking off tonight after what feels like an eternity of waiting, we are so BACK! With that said, here is kind of a rapid fire of my predictions for this season! We will revisit playoff/super bowl/award predictions at various points of the course of the season, but it is always fun to make some before the year actually begins to see how close or far off I was when it is all said and done. Lets start off with playoff predictions! NFC #1 Seed (1st-rd BYE): Detroit Lions (12-5) The Lions came up just short of winning the NFC a year ago, blowing a big lead to the 49ers in the NFC championship game. They return almost all their key players, including some valuable additions like CB Carlton Davis, DT DJ Reader, CB Terrion Arnold and more.   With the season just TWO days away from officially kicking off, here is the final installment of the annual big list! This has been as fun as ever of an exercise to do, and I cannot wait as always to see what holds up, who falls off, and who comes out of nowhere to burst inside of the top 25 or so! 10. Maxx Crosby, Edge Rusher, Las Vegas Raiders | LAST YEAR: #25 2023 statline: 90 total tackles, 14.5 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 2 pass deflections The former 4th round pick out of little Eastern Michigan just continues to rise and blow past expectations. Crosby came into the league with a major chip on his shoulder, and he continues to use that to his advantage. Every single year in the league he has gotten noticeably better, both on the field and on the stat sheet. 2023 was easily his best year yet, and he was out of this world. He was one of the top players in football in terms of pressure rate, but he also converted those pressures into his career high in sacks with a whopping 14.5 ...
