NFL Free Agency Predictions: Where Do the Top 50 Players Sign?

We are on the brink of the NFL off-season taking full swing. As of Wednesday, teams will be able to officially sign outside free agents, and teams will start talking and agreeing to deals in principle a few days before that. The NFL is about to drastically change with all of the roster movement including a few big trades (Wilson to Denver, Cooper to Cleveland), and a few that are likely to come as well (Deshaun Watson, La'El Collins, etc.). Today we predict where some of the top free agents will sign and for how much. The players are in order based on our FA rankings.

1. Terron Armstead, Offensive Tackle (from NO)
Signing Prediction: Armstead signs a 3-yr/$63 million deal with the Cincinnati Bengals

Our top available FA after the flurry of franchise taggings is easily Terron Armstead, who is going to have nearly every NFL team interested. He is one of the very best tackles in the league and is still relatively young for the position. Many teams will be able to make big offers, but I think he goes with the Bengals whose offer will be up there with the biggest and allow him to go to a major contender and potentially be that missing piece to take them over the top.

2. JC Jackson, Cornerback (from NE)
Signing Prediction: Jackson signs a 4-yr/$74 million deal with the Los Angles Chargers

Yup, what an off-season this might turn out to be the for the Chargers. They just traded for former DPOY edge rusher Khalil Mack, and now I have them going out and spending big time money on one of the best young corners in the game. Jackson is going to command top of the market money to sign, but the Chargers are in win now mode and are yet to have to pay Justin Herbert big-time money. This is how you build up a contender, and the Chargers just got another elite player for their defense which figures to be one of the best in the league next season.

3. Chandler Jones, Edge Rusher (from ARI)
Signing Prediction: Jones signs a 2-yr/$29 million deal with the Buffalo Bills

There are going to be a number of teams who will open their checkbooks for the most consistent pass rusher in the NFL over the past 8 or so years. While he's into his 30s, he is still wildly productive and would be a huge get for anyone. The Bills feel like the darkhorse team in the sweepstakes for him. I think he opts to go there for a small bit less than joining a worse team. Jones could be the missing piece for the Bills stout defense that really only lacks a consistent rusher.

4. Marcus Williams, Safety (from NO)
Signing Prediction: Williams signs a 4-yr/$64 million deal with the New York Jets

I would see Williams returning to the Saints if they weren't in such salary cap hell. Instead, I think the Jets will be a big-time player for Williams who is a difference maker on the back end and will stand out to defensive minded HC Robert Saleh. The Jets have money to spend and know they need a star safety as Jamal Adams and now likely Marcus Maye will both be gone. They cash in this time out.

5. Von Miller, Edge Rusher (from LAR)
Signing Prediction: Miller signs a 2-yr/$32 million deal with the Denver Broncos

I have the Broncos pulling off quite the masterclass here. We all know that Denver traded their former Super Bowl MVP to the Rams at the trade deadline for good draft compensation including a second round pick. Miller went on and was a key factor in the Rams' Super Bowl run. Now he hits FA again and I have him returning right back to Denver, who gets him back and keeps the free draft picks they got. Denver still has cap space to add guys like Miller and Von has even teased a reunion on his instagram. Now with Russell Wilson in the fold, Miller getting a massive deal to return and try and help win another title for his team makes all the sense in the world.

6. Bobby Wagner, Middle Linebacker (from SEA)
Signing Prediction: Wagner signs a 2-yr/$33 million deal with the Denver Broncos

Denver strikes again! Wagner was released from the Seahawks following the Russell Wilson trade, but still has a ton left in the tank and is garnering a ton of interest around the NFL. Even with bringing in Miller, the Broncos still will have the cap space to make another big move. Wagner following Wilson makes a ton of sense, the two love each other and have played together their entire careers. Denver also has a major need at LB and Bobby would fit right in.

7. Odell Beckham Jr., Wide Receiver (from LAR)
Signing Prediction: Beckham signs a 3-yr/$42 million deal with the Los Angeles Rams

Beckham becomes the first player on this list we see returning to his old team. While the Rams have some money problems, teams can always find ways to create cap space. This is the case for the Rams as I see them doing it and then turning right around and giving Beckham a massive contract to come back. OBJ was a key add at mid-season before their Super Bowl run and has expressed a ton of interest in returning, and I think the Rams return the favor by rewarding him with a $14 million dollar per year deal.

8. Allen Robinson, Wide Receiver (from CHI)
Signing Prediction: Robinson signs a 3-yr/$51 million deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars

Robinson is going to have as much interest around the league as anyone. You can't blame him for the down year he had as he was dealing with all of the BS in Chicago's offense. Robinson will have a strong market, but I see him returning to where his career started with the Jaguars. They have a ton of cap space and are looking to aid budding star QB Trevor Lawrence. Robinson would be his instant top target and would make a lot of sense. I anticipate the Jags to go all in to try and secure his services.

9. Haason Reddick, Edge Rusher (from CAR)
Signing Prediction: Reddick signs a 3-yr/$40 million deal with the Seattle Seahawks

A guy I think who is getting majorly overlooked on the FA market is Haason Reddick who not only is still in his 20s, but is coming off of his second straight double digit sack season. Reddick is starting to enter his prime and can be a team's no. 1 edge rusher. The Seahawks need a ton of help off of the edge and have a ton of cap space suddenly to fill that need. I think they go for him as he really fits their timeline of retooling and being back in contention within the next 1-2 years. This would be a big-time add for Seattle.

10. Cordarrelle Patterson, Running Back (from ATL)
Signing Prediction: Patterson signs a 2-yr/$16 million deal with the Atlanta Falcons

After his major breakout in 2021, Patterson is sure to get a ton of interest throughout the league. While the Falcons suck, I would find it shocking if he left. HC Arthur Smith finally figured out how to unlock Patterson's true potential and he was amazing for them. There is no chance he goes somewhere else just to be likely misused again. I think for a hefty price, the Falcons retain Patterson who can be a major playmaker for this offense deprived of talent (especially with Calvin Ridley suspended).

11. Za'Darius Smith, Edge Rusher (from GB)
Signing Prediction: Smith signs a 2-yr/$23 million deal with the Baltimore Ravens

While it's unofficial at this very moment, all signs point to Za'Darius Smith being released by the Packers in the coming days. Smith is in his early 30s but is still an elite pass rusher when he's on the field. He started his career with the Ravens, and now I can sense a reunion. The Ravens need another consistent rusher off the edge to pair with young promising talent Odafe Oweh. Who better to have than a veteran rusher who can teach him all the moves. I think this would be a nice get for the Ravens who want to get back to Super Bowl contention this year.

12. De'Vondre Campbell, Linebacker (from GB)
Signing Prediction: Campbell signs a 3-yr/$33 million deal with Washington Commanders

Both Campbell and Green Bay will likely be interested in a reunion, but I just don't see a way he can stay in Green Bay with their current money issues. The Packers have literally no money to spend and Campbell was an All-Pro LB last season. He is going to be pricey. I think the Commanders will swoop in and continue to improve their roster with this big-time add. Ron Rivera isn't playing around and adds yet another stud to one of the stoutest front 7's in football.

13. Quandre Diggs, Safety (from SEA)
Signing Prediction: Diggs signs a 3-yr/$41 million deal with the Seattle Seahawks

I expect Philly to be a big-time player in the Diggs sweepstakes as well, but I can't see Seattle losing out on their now de-facto defensive captain. Diggs had a career year last year for the Hawks and while the team's recent moves may give him some pause to returning, I see the team offering him higher than anyone to ensure they don't lose the All-Pro caliber FS as well.

14. Carlton Davis, Cornerback (from TB)
Signing Prediction: Davis signs a 3-yr/$48 million deal with the Cincinnati Bengals

After getting the top FA on the market, don't expect the Bengals to be done. They have a ton of cap space and they know their areas of need. Carlton Davis is potentially the most attractive CB on the market aside from JC Jackson. He's just 25 years old and has turned in three straight double digit pass breakup seasons. The Bengals are in need of some more consistency at CB and know he fits their timeline perfectly. It costs them a pretty penny here though.

15. Brandon Scherff, Offensive Guard (from WAS)
Signing Prediction: Scherff signs a 3-yr/$52 million deal with the Miami Dolphins

Another team with loads of cap space who I expect to be in on every major name is the Dolphins, but up to this point, I hadn't predicted anyone to sign with them yet. That changes with elite offensive guard Brandon Scherff. The Dolphins had the worst OL in the NFL last year, and new HC Mike McDaniel knows they need a change. They show they are willing to give Scherff anything for him to come to South Beach and protect Tua.

16. Tyrann Mathieu, Safety (from KC)
Signing Prediction: Mathieu signs a 4-yr/$64 million deal with the New Orleans Saints

I know I said the Saints don't have money, which they don't, but I also said that teams can create cap space at any given moment. I think the Saints do exactly that to accommodate the Honey Badger. Both signs have shown interest in one another and I can see New Orleans breaking the bank for a leader and talent like Mathieu to come over to the Big Easy. Dennis Allen would be all in on this move, even for this massive price.

17. Akiem Hicks, Defensive Tackle (from CHI)
Signing Prediction: Hicks signs a 1-yr/$7 million deal with the Los Angeles Chargers

THE CHARGERS AREN'T DONE YET. After getting Mack AND JC Jackson, I expect them to use the last little bit of their cap to fill a major need with a big-time veteran. Akiem Hicks may be into his 30s, but he is still one of the best interior defensive lineman in the NFL. He brings consistent pressure on the QB, can eat up blocks, and is a great run stuffer. These are all major needs for the Chargers and they reunite Hicks with his former coach Brandon Staley and DL-mate Mack.

18. Emmanuel Ogbah, Edge Rusher (from MIA)
Signing Prediction: Ogbah signs a 3-yr/$37 million deal with the Miami Dolphins

With all of that cap space, I don't see why the 'Fins wouldn't spend a little more of it to ensure they get their best and most consistent pass rusher back in Emmanuel Ogbah. While he's bounced around the league a little, he's found his place in Miami as he's lead the team in sacks in back to back seasons and been a huge disrupter. I can't see Miami letting him go unless they land multiple other big money FA guys first which I don't have happening my personal predictions, hence the path for Ogbah to return.

19. Stephon Gilmore, Cornerback (from CAR)
Signing Prediction: Gilmore signs a 2-yr/$27 million deal with the San Francisco 49ers

Gilmore has definitely shown signs of slowing down, and he's into his 30s, but there is no denying his coverage skill and experience that he brings to the table. The former DPOY is going to be a hot name on the market for CB needy teams, and I feel like it is almost a sure thing he goes to the Niners. The Niners have a big need at CB and would probably get an experienced vet rather than a more unproven youngster. Gilmore would be a perfect fit and I think on a well-paying two year deal, he comes to the Bay.

20. Ryan Jensen, Center (from TB)
Signing Prediction: Jensen signs a 3-yr/$39 million deal with the Miami Dolphins

Now the 'Fins are getting active. After breaking the bank for Brandon Scherff and also bringing back Emmanuel Ogbah, the Dolphins spend another large sum to improve the offensive line with Ryan Jensen. Jensen is one of the best centers in football and has spent the past few seasons anchoring Tom Brady's offensive line. Brady loved Jensen which is the best endorsement you can really get in the NFL and should make his market even better. For $13 million a year, I think he stays in Florida and moves on to anchor Tua's O-line.

21. Randy Gregory, Edge Rusher (from DAL)
Signing Prediction: Gregory signs a 3-yr/$42 million deal with the Indianapolis Colts

The Colts have top 3 cap space in the league, and I'm yet to predict anyone going to them. That changes as they get one of the top edge rushers on the market in Randy Gregory. The Colts need more pressure off of the edge and Gregory can do that. He doesn't have astounding sack numbers but his pressures and pressure rate is top notch and I think Chris Ballard will be quite interested in adding him even if it costs a good sum.

22. Jameis Winston, Quarterback (from NO)
Signing Prediction: Winston signs a 2-yr/$30 million deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers

I think the Steelers are trying, and doing a good job of hiding their big time interest in Jameis Winston. He would make all of the sense in the world to head to Pittsburgh. The Steelers have the 20th pick in the draft which makes getting the QB they want in the draft unlikely, and I doubt Mike Tomlin is going to want to wait around for a rookie QB to develop. The Steelers have a championship roster minus the QB position, and with some money to spend, taking a flier on Winston would make a lot of sense. I think under Tomlin, Winston could continue to improve and make the Steelers a real contender.

23. Jadeveon Clowney, Edge Rusher (from CLE)
Signing Prediction: Clowney signs a 1-yr/$14 million deal with the Cleveland Browns

After trading some late round picks to Dallas to acquire Amari Cooper in a great move for Cleveland, the Browns can now change their attention to bringing back Clowney. Jadeveon has bounced around the NFL for the past few seasons but has finally found his spot in Cleveland, as he had a great year playing alongside Myles Garrett. I think other teams will be interested, but a reunion makes sense for both sides, and the Browns give him another well-paying one-year deal to return.

24. Calais Campbell, Defensive Tackle (from BAL)
Signing Prediction: Campbell signs a 1-yr/$8 million deal with the Baltimore Ravens

Campell is getting up there in age, but he's still massive and a force on the interior. He has spent his past few seasons in Baltimore, and I don't see why he wouldn't return on a decent one year deal. The Ravens are a contender and he has a ton of familiarity there. While I expect him to survey the open market, returning to Baltimore for another year makes a lot of sense for him.

25. DJ Chark, Wide Reciever (from JAX)
Signing Prediction: Chark signs a 3-yr/$33 million deal with the Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles are in for a good off-season with three first round picks and a good amount of cap space. They fill a big need here bringing in a young, large target with game-breaking speed. Chark is going to get a ton of interest on the open market due to his unique skillset and size. I think the Eagles may have to outbid some other contenders to secure his services, but a 3 year deal that gives Chark $11 million annually should do the trick to give Jalen Hurts another deep threat and separator aside from DeVonta Smith.

26. DJ Reed, Cornerback (from SEA)
Signing Prediction: Reed signs a 3-yr/$26 million deal with the Seattle Seahawks

I think one of the main reasons we saw Bobby Wagner cut after the Wilson deal was that so Seattle could go out and sign outside talent, but also retain their top free agents. One of those guys who is a main priority for them is DJ Reed who has been their CB1 for the past two seasons. Reed is still relatively young (under 30) and seemingly getting better and better. There surely will be interest from others, but Seattle is going to do all they can to lock him up for the foreseeable future, and I expect him to be back with the team that gave him a second chance.

27. Rob Gronkowski, Tight end (from TB)
Signing Prediction: Gronk signs a 1-yr/$10 million deal with the Cincinnati Bengals

Gronk is still mulling his NFL future entirely, but I expect him to come back for at least one more season. He's still playing at such a high level and seems like he's having fun doing so. This could be a signing that happens deeper into FA, but if he comes back, I think the Bengals will get him. They have the money to do so and we know he wants to play with Joe Burrow, who has a similar swag and aura about him. When Gronk decides to return, I see Cinncy ponying up good money on a one year deal to add Gronk to the elite receiving core they already boast.

28. Rasul Douglas, Cornerback (from GB)
Signing Prediction: Douglas signs a 2-yr/$16 million deal with the Indianapolis Colts

Following quite the breakout season, Douglas is going to have a big market in FA. He's still under 30 and proved the ball hawking CB he can be. The Colts have so much money to spend, and corner is a big need of theirs. They already boast a great defense, but adding another guy who can create turnovers on any given down would potentially take them to the next level. $8 million a season is a decent sum for a cornerback, but the Colts have the money to be able to do so, and he would make a lot of sense in their defense.

29. Laken Tomlinson, Offensive Guard (from SF)
Signing Prediction: Tomlinson signs a 3-yr/$30 million deal with the Miami Dolphins

Another one for Miami. The Dolphins' offensive line is quite revamped now with my FA signings, and it will do them wonders. Brandon Scherff, Ryan Jensen, and now Laken Tomlinson. Out of those three, I'd even argue that Tomlinson makes the MOST sense. He comes from San Francisco which is the same place as new HC Mike McDaniel (who was the OC there). The two are obviously very familiar with one another and McDaniel will be keen on bringing him along to Miami. In this FA, I have the Dolphins committing over $130 million to revamping their O-line.

30. Foyesade Oluokun, Linebacker (from ATL)
Signing Prediction: Oluokun signs a 2-yr/$16 million deal with the Las Vegas Raiders

In what many thought could be a massive FA for the Raiders where they could potentially even land Davante Adams, we predict it to suddenly be mostly quiet. The Raiders do have cap space, but with Adams off the market, there aren't a ton of great fits for the Raiders. One great fit who we predict to sign with them is Foye Oluokun. On a well-paying two year deal, the Raiders bring in one of the fastest LBs in football who is also one of the best tacklers in the game. The Raiders need consistency at the position and pairing him up with Denzel Perryman would be smart for the Silver and Black.

31. Alex Cappa, Offensive Guard (from TB)
Signing Prediction: Cappa signs a 3-yr/$33 million deal with the Chicago Bears

Here I've got the Bears making their first signing as well. New GM and HC Ryan Poles and Matt Eberflus have cleaned out the roster a bit, creating a ton of future cap space for this team. While they don't have much money to spend this specific off-season, they certainly have some, and with a good chunk of it, I predict them to sure up pass protection for Justin Fields with Alex Cappa. Cappa has been the definition of consistency for the Bucs over the past few seasons and now he brings his skill to the Bears for the future.

32. Leonard Fournette, Running Back (from TB)
Signing Prediction: Fournette signs a 2-yr/$15 million deal with the Buffalo Bills

I love this signing for the Bills. They have lacked a consistent RB on offense for years now, and I think they officially solve it with this addition. Fournette had an All-Pro caliber year in Tampa Bay, and now he's ready to cash in with another contender with Brady's departure. Fournette is a powerful, downhill runner with surprising speed and suddenly developing pass catching skills. He is a perfect, dream fit in this Buffalo offense and could elevate them to new heights.

33. James Conner, Running Back (from ARI)
Signing Prediction: Conner signs a 2-yr/$14 million deal with the Arizona Cardinals

Similarly to Patterson with the Falcons earlier, I can't see James Conner leaving the team that unlocked him. With Chase Edmonds likely gone to FA as well, it could be the pure James Conner show in Arizona this year. The Cardinals don't have a ton of money to spend, but I'm sure retaining Conner will be their top priority after he was unbelievably good for them in 2021. This is also a move to attempt to keep the disgruntled Kyler Murray happy.

34. Duane Brown, Offensive Tackle (from SEA)
Signing Prediction: Brown signs a 1-yr/$8 million deal with the Seattle Seahawks

Brown has continued his pass blocking dominance in Seattle for the past few seasons, now at age 37, he's definitely regressing, but is still a good pass blocker. Seattle is reportedly very interested in retaining him and I couldn't really see him leaving if he gets a good one year offer from the team that he's played for since 2017.

35. BJ Hill, Defensive Tackle (from CIN)
Signing Prediction: Hill signs a 3-yr/$22 million deal with the Cincinnati Bengals

I'd expect the Chargers to be another big-time contender to bring Hill in, but ultimately we have him re-signing with the Bengals. Hill broke out out of seemingly nowhere for the Bengals this past season and was a key stopgap on their DL during their run to the Super Bowl. Hill is an elite run stuffer and tackler and I can't see the Bengals letting him go. They pay him nicely on a 3-year deal that gives him more than $7 million annually.

36. Donte Jackson, Cornerback (from CAR)
Signing Prediction: Jackson signs a 1-yr/$9 million deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers could stand to both get faster and deeper at the CB position. Donte Jackson is an intriguing young CB with elite speed and developing coverage skills. I think he won't get the big, long term deal he's seeking so he will instead sign a well-paying one year prove it deal with a contender in hopes of having a good year and returning to the open market again next season.

37. Michael Gallup, Wide Receiver (from DAL)
Signing Prediction: Gallup signs a 4-yr/$45 million deal with the Dallas Cowboys

I'm not quite sure why the Cowboys picked Gallup over the proven vet Amari Cooper, but there are reports saying they are poised to pay Gallup big money on a long-term deal. Gallup is great when he's on the field but he's also very injury prone and seems to disappear in big moments. Dallas seems to love him however, so we predict him to return on a massive four year deal that gives him more than $11 million per season.

38. *Antonio Brown*, Wide Receiver (from TB)
Signing Prediction: Brown signs a 1-yr/$5 million deal with the Baltimore Ravens

If Brown somehow works his way BACK into the NFL again, the Ravens seem like the prime contender to bring him in. Brown is still very productive into his 30s and could be an elite WR2 option behind Hollywood Brown for Lamar Jackson. Brown has stated his interest in joining the Ravens because of Jackson and the fact that he's cousins with the other Brown. If he's back, expect him to be in the purple and gold.

39. James Daniels, Offensive Guard (from CHI)
Signing Prediction: Daniels signs a 3-yr/$30 million deal with the New York Giants

The Giants do not have much money to spend and so the draft (in which they possess two top 7 picks) will be their bigger event of the off-season Still, they are going to probably get someone, and who makes more sense than Daniels for them. Daniels is still just 24 years old and already developing into one of the better pass blocking guards in football. The Giants will be very interested as their OL is a mess and I could see them handing out this well paying contract to Daniels to come to New York.

40. Christian Kirk, Wide Receiver (from ARI)
Signing Prediction: Kirk signs a 4-yr/$45 million deal with the Indianapolis Colts

Now the Colts are startin' to spend some money. They have a major need at WR and Christian Kirk is the name to keep an eye on. He's expected to have a great market and the Colts can outbid pretty much anyone if they want him enough. The outside speedster would be a great fit next to Michael Pittman Jr. in this offense and will really give whoever plays QB next for them some weapons to look for.

41. OJ Howard, Tight End (from TB)
Signing Prediction: Howard signs a 1-yr/$5 million deal with the Tennessee Titans

Howard is an overlooked and underrated FA in this year's class. He was barely played and overall misused with Tampa Bay, but he's still so young and has all of the talent in the world. Many saw him as one of the best TE prospects ever when he came out of Alabama a few years ago. The Titans don't have much money to spend with their expensive payroll, but I see them stealing Howard on a cheap one-year deal to be a big time threat in the middle of their high powered offense. With so many other threats in that offense, Howard is going to thrive with the defense not paying attention to him.

42. Trent Brown, Offensive Tackle (from NE)
Signing Prediction: Brown signs a 2-yr/$24 million deal with the Carolina Panthers

Even though we have him as our #42 available FA, Trent Brown is going to command a ton of interest on the open market and potentially secure a nice contract. He's had an up and down start to his career including stretches where some believed he was a top 3 tackle in the NFL. Now, his price is down a little bit, and the Panthers who are desperate for tackle help might be able to bring him in on a win-win two year deal to help protect the edge for whoever is their QB in 2022.

43. Marcus Maye, Safety (from NYJ)
Signing Prediction: Maye signs a 1-yr/$7 million deal with the Dallas Cowboys

Due to injury, Marcus Maye's FA stock is way down from what it once was. For god's sake, he was literally playing on the franchise tag this season. The young Safety is still one of the better up and coming DBs in the entire league and is going to have some interest around the league. Dallas seems like they are always in on things for these stud young safeties and even now, safety is a big need for them. Signing way to an affordable one-year, prove it deal could benefit both sides, as Maye could showcase his talent in one of the league's biggest markets and have a chance to cash back in next off-season.

44. Rashaad Penny, Running Back (from SEA)
Signing Prediction: Penny signs a 2-yr/$8 million deal with the Seattle Seahawks

If the Seahawks are truly going to go into the season with Drew Lock as their starter, they are going to need Rashaad Penny back in the fold. He had a phenomenal finish to the season and is an amazing complement to power runner Chris Carson. Both guys are often injured so having them both is key in hopes of at least one of them being healthy in any given week.

45. Marcus Mariota, Quarterback (from LV)
Signing Prediction: Mariota signs a 1-yr/$10 million deal with the Indianapolis Colts

The Colts could go any which way in terms of their next QB, but with a weak FA class, it severely limits their options. I think the trade market could be where they find their next starter, but either way, signing Marcus Mariota makes a ton of sense. He's been a backup for a couple of years now since getting cut by the Titans and has filled in for a couple of stretches and looked decent. I think if he were go to a team like the Colts and play meaningful snaps, he could be decent given the good offensive system they have there. This good money one year deal would make a lot of sense for both the Colts & Mariota.

46. Juju Smith-Schuster, Wide Receiver (from PIT)
Signing Prediction: Smith-Schuster signs a 2-yr/$20 million deal with Kansas City Chiefs

When healthy (and not TikToking) Juju is one of the better young receivers in football. He does a lot of things well, including route-running, tough catches, and fighting for extra yards. His speed and size make him a tough cover and a tough guy to bring down in the open field. The Chiefs have been longing for a consistent third threat in their receiving core and we've heard there is quite some interest on both sides here for Smith-Schuster. Signing him to a nice two year deal would make sense and be a big add for KC's already nasty offense.

47. Charvarius Ward, Cornerback (from KC)
Signing Prediction: Ward signs a 3-yr/$33 million deal with the New England Patriots

The Pats suddenly feel like they are in big need of a CB if they do in fact lose JC Jackson like we predict happening. While there are a lot of good FA corners on the market, one that fits really well with them would be breakout corner from the Chiefs Charvarius Ward. Ward is a fast corner who plays really good and really sticky man coverage. The Pats love to run man and press man coverage (just see JC Jackson) and so inking him to a well-paying long term deal would be a very smart move for both sides.

48. Leighton Vander-Esch, Linebacker (from DAL)
Signing Prediction: Vander-Esch signs a 3-yr/$36 million deal with the Detroit Lions

The Lions have some cap space too, and I can see them getting a guy like Leighton Vander-Esch to come play for their hard-nosed coach Dan Campbell. Vander-Esch has been oft injured but there is no denying his talent when he's healthy and on the field. He is one of the toughest LBs in the football and is an extremely talented tackler as well. This is a guy Dan Campbell is going to be willing to throw money to be in the middle of his defense for the future.

49. Zach Ertz, Tight End (from ARI)
Signing Prediction: Ertz signs a 1-yr/$9 million deal with the Denver Broncos

As you can tell, I expect Denver to have quite the active FA period. Bobby Wagner, Von Miller, and now Zach Ertz! Trading Noah Fant, the Broncos are in need of a reliable target down the middle to complement their nice receiving trio of Jeudy, Sutton, and Patrick. Russell Wilson is finally going to be in a pass happy offense and HC Nathaniel Hackett is going to try and give him everything he needs to COOK.

50. Ben Jones, Center (from TEN)
Signing Prediction: Jones signs a 2-yr/$18 million deal with the Tennessee Titans

While Jones is 33, he is still one of the best Centers in football. The Titans know their team lives and dies through the offense and I'm sure they realize how much Jones meant and attributed to their successful offense last season. With a very player-friendly two year deal, Jones will be right back in the fold for Tennessee!
