JKNFLFOOTBALL Top 100 Players for 2022: The Top 10

Image
We've made it. Over the course of the last month and change I've been slowly revealing my top 100 players in the NFL heading into next season, but today marks the conclusion with THE top 10! These are the best of the very best and while there will definitely be some controversy about how they stack up, they are almost all pretty interchangeable as they truly are the best players in the sport. Let's do this one more time! 10. Derrick Henry, Running Back, Tennessee Titans | LAST YEAR: #9 | 2021 stats: 219 carries for 937 yards, 10 TDs rushing (limited to 8 games, due to injury) The King's reign continues! For the second straight year Derrick Henry is both within the top 10 and comes in as my no. 1 RB in the NFL! We all were anticipating another huge year from Henry following his insane 2,000 yard rushing season last year that saw him also take home Offensive Player of the Year honors, and he picked up right on that pace through the first half of the season. Sadly, Henry...

JKNFLFOOTBALL Top 100 Players for 2022: 20-11

The top 20 is here! The annual list is coming near a close as we've reached our second to last installment of the year. These 20 players are truly the very best of the best and there is sure to be some major controversy of how they stack up. Today we will see 20-11 as we prepare for the final installment in the coming days after this in which you will find out our TOP 10! Without further adue, let's get into it... 20. Justin Jefferson, Wide Receiver, Minnesota Vikings | LAST YEAR: #48 | 2021 stats: 108 receptions for 1,616 yards, 10 TDs receiving After a rookie season for the ages in which Justin Jefferson set the All-Time receiving record for a rookie, expectations for year 2 were THROUGH THE ROOF. With that insanely high bar, many wondered if he could really outdo it in his second year. That he did. Jefferson caught 20 more passes for an extra 200+ yards and 3 TDs to hit over 100 catches for more than 1,600 yards and double digit TDs! Through just two seasons, Justin Jeffer...

JKNFLFOOTBALL Top 100 Players for 2022: 30-21

We are really getting to it here. It feels like the other day when we were just starting and now we are widdling it down to the best of the best as we enter the top 30 today and will leave off just before the top 20! It's bound to be the most controversial release yet, but let's get into it! 30. Mark Andrews, Tight End, Baltimore Ravens | LAST YEAR: N/A | 2021 stats: 107 receptions for 1,361 yards, 9 TDs receiving After a mid-tier 2020 season, Mark Andrews officially BURST onto the scene in 2021. We all knew Andrews was one of the better TEs in football going into this season, but damn, no one thought he was this good! Everyone in Baltimore and around the league liked to complain that Lamar Jackson ran the ball so much because he had no one to throw to, no top tier WR. Who needs an elite WR1 when you have an elite TE1?! Andrews silenced all doubters with his 100+ catch season for nearly 1,400 yards and 10 TDs! Those are TE numbers I really could have only expected from Travis...

JKNFLFOOTBALL Top 100 Players for 2022: 50-31

It's only the best of the best from here. We've officially reached the top half of my annual top 100 rankings and things start to get really interesting from here on out. Again, this list isn't a ranking purely off of their 2021 performances but also a projection for 2022. That has to be kept in mind when some guys might get put above others. The top 50 is about to start out with a bang, but he's a prime example of everything being taken into account. Today we will cover players 50-31! 50. Deebo Samuel, Wide Receiver, San Francisco 49ers | LAST YEAR: N/A | 2021 stats: 77 receptions for 1,405 yards, 6 TDs receiving | 59 carries for 365 yards, 8 TDs rushing In his first fully healthy pro season, Deebo Samuel showed the world why the Niners believed in him so much. Samuel went from a guy thought of as a 'promising young player' to a First Team All-Pro. Deebo simply is a weapon. There shouldn't be a position tag next to his name. And that kind of play style f...
